BLACKBIRD.. GREEDY AND VERY BOSSY.

SUNDAY JUNE 10.... still frozen.The Barn closed today as carpark is frozen solid.

FRIDAY JUNE 8 2012.

SUNRISE and still not much of a thaw.Scenery is amazing and sorry folks but I love taking these photos. Hopefully over the weekend I will get some projects finished for The Barn. Michael is away to England for a few weeks and I have a very long list of things I want to do so here,s hoping.

Bantams heading over to join the others for brekkie.They all sleep in different places but reunite for food.

THE MORNING AFTER THE SNOWFALL.

Icicles on the side of The Barn.The snowfall has made it an amazing time to be out and about with the camera.

It is a must to feed the birds when the snow is here.These little waxeyes love the sugar water and the apples. But the bird world obviously has a gossip grapevine and soon in came the thrush,s and blackbirds so food for them was thrown out on the lawn. It is a lovely sight to watch.

KNIFE,FORK, SPOON.....

Wow, I loved these as soon as I spotted them in a store while on holiday.Paying the excess baggage was worth it but I wanted them  to hang above the kitchen fireplace which you can see on the left of the photo but they were too long,hence they are hanging around the corner from it.They certainly catch people,s attention.

Once again we have had a huge dump of snow and everything is looking so pristine but OH Sooooo cold.
